For the price it's great, however it is apparent that this is a $100 center channel, I just upgraded to a more expensive and better known brand and the difference in clarity and dialog is very noticeable. For $100 however you won't find anything better.

Only gave 4 stars because they continue to keep inventory that I want out of stock for months on the for sale list. Bought the BiPolars early this year which are good, but the other speakers I bought back in October which were in stock at the time and is now and still out of stock. Why don't you just eliminate them from stock so I don't have to keep looking at them. I'm not going to be forced to buy something else because you won't take the ones I want off the market. Also the webmaster needs to put the left to right schrolls in so the complete reveiws can be read. BS

I do have the bipolars, but waiting for the rest to make a complete system. Very frustrating, because they are a good speaker for the cost. Ordered towers back in October b4 it said was out of stock, and they are still out of stock. Why don't you just take them off the inventory list!

I bought this center channel to upgrade the center that came with the avhtb and all I can say is WOW! What an improvement, this center channel shows up to the party with clarity, detail, and some bass (not bass that you expect from a sub but bass that fills the void in between the l/r that seems to be lacking in a lot of systems) . If you have the chance grab grab this center channel just like the rest of the Fluance products you won't be disappointed. This center will do wonders for the avhtb and the sxhtb.

I upgraded the center channel that came with the avhtb and what an improvement. If you have the chance grab this center channel I'm sure it will complete your front three for the avhtb or the sxhtb. When the sxhtb comes out in black I will be grabbing those and will leave this as the center piece.

Very rich, full sound. This speaker opened up really well after a few hours of use. I'm hearing things in movies that i never heard before! Voices are very clear and strong. Bass and Mid sound great while the highs are piercing a precise! Very good value!

I had been using a home-theater-in-a-box setup for a few years and thought it was good. I finally got the itch to upgrade the main towers and center channel speaker and did some research. The lower price of the Fluance speakers caused me to hesitate--how good can they be for that price?--but the reviews won me over; on here and on independant sites. Would have paid for the better quality models here but I wanted a black finish, so went with these 'basic' speakers. All I can say is WOW. These utterly destroy the speakers I was using before. The towers sound good for stereo listening but I prefer to use the surround setting on my receiver which activates the Outlaw Audio powered subwoofer I already owned, and the Fluance larger center channel speaker (as opposed to the smaller one in the 5.0 package). In surround mode the Fluance speakers sound amazing, with the music being both powerful and clean. The base coming off the towers blends with the subwoofer and is strong and smooth. True ear candy. Now I run Pandora through my home theater system almost the entire time I'm home as it sounds so damn good. As great as music is, surround audio in movies is unbelievable! Sounds as good as or better than being at a new THX movie theater. A HUGE upgrade from the speakers I had before--wish I had upgraded a long time ago. Speakers costing $1,000 or more might sound a little better, but I can't imagine the tiny increase in quality would be worth the big price difference. Thanks Fluance!
