Follow us:   / fluanceaudio     / fluance     / fluanceaudio   TRANSCRIPT: In this video we're going to unbox a Fluance Reference turntable. In this case, the RT83. By the end of this video you will know what's included with your turntable, and where each item is located in the box. We recommend saving the packaging that came with your turntable, in case you need to transport it in the future. The styrofoam and packaging is specifically designed to keep your turntable safe during shipping. Open the box, and at the top, you will find a cardboard sleeve that contains the rubber platter mat. The RT85 does not come with a rubber platter mat because the platter is acrylic, and does not require a platter mat. Next is the dust cover. This bag contains two items. The bubble level that's used for making sure that your plinth is level, and the turntable manual. This cardboard sleeve contains your turntable accessories. Under the turntable, you will find the platter, which will be in a cardboard box. On the RT82, RT83, and RT84, this will be an aluminum platter. On the RT85, this will be an acrylic platter. Around the platter, is the rubber belt. Located in the styrofoam end caps that keep the turntable in place area: the 45rpm adapter, the counterweight, and the stylus and headshell. The stylus will be pre-mounted to the headshell. Inside the accessory box is two dust cover hinges, a ground wire cable, the motor pulley cap which goes over the servo motor, the power adapter, and one set of RCA cables.
